Govt steps in as many parents do not know what their kids do online - More than half of Malaysian parents are in the dark over what their children are up to when they are surfing the internet. More here

 

The most effective current means of protecting children from content on the Internet harmful to minors include: aggressive efforts toward public education, consumer empowerment, increased resources for enforcement of existing laws, and greater use of existing technologies.

  1. hi katrina, just 2 days ago, before they let me open my email password, google asked me to fill up a question on my birth date. i did, did you?

    they are trying to screen internet viewers and allowing "internet access according to appropriate age groups only" and google complained, saying that they have been trying to organize this since a few years ago.

    Before, "water" is declared a human right, now "internet".. this means that anybody can PUBLISH or READ anything via internet... susaah la

  2. It's pretty normal for the internet to be a human right, after all internet exists due to all of us present here. So, as long as everybody has access, everything is good.
