We are very meticulous when looking into the
security of our homes – placing additional locks, security alarms, engaging
professional security firms, cameras and grilles to ensure we are safe inside
and prevent from break-ins etc.
What if unforeseen circumstances ‘unexpectedly’ happen
behind these closed doors? Being home
alone and in cases of emergencies, have you the necessary plans to ensure
that help is within reach?

hi katrina, the 3 year old girl who lived and
ReplyDeleteate some leftover food and milk is a miracle survivor.
She is lucky the food did not give her food poisoning.
Cases of people who died of suffocation due to closed windows at home and in the cars are quite common.. its been published in the media over and over, yet the same careless mistakes happen every time.
Some parents just dont bother much about the safety of their kids... and regretted not doing so, only after accidents happened or may be even death.
Great post here- great reminder for us all
My close friend, a widow is all alone as both her kids are studying overseas, she has all the alarms to her home. Living in an exclusive area, over 15yrs, house broken into, already 4times, luckily on all these incidences, she was not home.
ReplyDeleteAn active healthy elderly lady (80yrs old) I knew once had a stroke and was not able to move, her neighbour noticed the front porch lights all lit during the day.
Suspecting something not usual, they climbed over her gate, peep thru the windows and saw her lying motionless at the living room. Problems here, some elderlies have children but insist on living on their own.
She was saved because of her porch lights! Lesson learnt, now she agreed to have a full-time maid staying with her.
These are the things that kept me wondering, Hope we can get some feedbacks here..
My heart cried for Shylah..how pitiful.
ReplyDeleteA gutsy little girl..hope she will turn out into a fine and happy young lady..such an angelic child.
